The Church of God Men’s Group is an informal gathering with three primary objectives. 1. Learn more about what it means to be a Godly man. 2. To strengthen one another as steel sharpens steel, and 3. To serve the Body of Christ in a manner more focused on our unique spiritual gifts.

To these ends, we meet twice monthly, once on the first Monday of the month in the Fellowship Hall at 9AM for breakfast, sharing, study, and planning. On the 3rd Monday at 6PM at a designated location for that day we also include a hands-on activity.

The Men’s Group has a short lesson each meeting, sharing of concerns and actions that can be taken, and some steps towards service. Most recently the Men have been helping widows of the church, reaching out to shut-ins through cards, making special items to honor baptisms, visitors, and mothers of the church.

And we have fun! Learning how to properly load and fire a real Civil War era canon was a recent booming success. Sport shooting events and facility improvements are also on way.

The Men’s Group is open to any adult male and all are eagerly and earnestly invited to join us. Rick Sapp currently leads the group and Larry Weekley leads the studies.
